1. Statutory Cancellation Rights

1.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you do NOT have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for bookings made through this website.

1.2 This exemption applies because singing lessons constitute leisure services provided on a specific date or at a specific time (e.g., "Wednesday at 2:00 PM").

1.3 By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have been informed of this exemption before purchase and consent to the cancellation terms set out below.

2. Consultation Bookings – 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

2.1 Consultations (30 minutes, £25) are subject to a 24-hour cancellation notice period.

2.2 Example: If your consultation is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:00 PM, you must cancel by Tuesday at 2:00 PM to avoid the full cancellation charge.

2.3 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will incur the full charge of £25.

2.4 Cancellations made before the 24-hour deadline will receive a full refund within 14 days.

3. One-to-One Singing Lessons – 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

3.1 Individual One-to-One Singing Lessons (60 minutes, £65 per hour) are subject to a 48-hour cancellation notice period.

3.2 Example: If your lesson is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:00 PM, you must cancel by Monday at 2:00 PM to avoid the full cancellation charge.

3.3 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will incur the full charge of £65.

3.4 Cancellations made before the 48-hour deadline will receive a full refund within 14 days.

4. Block Bookings of 10 Lessons

4.1 Pricing and Validity: Block Bookings are purchased at a discounted rate of £600 (£60 per lesson, representing a £50 discount). They must be used within six calendar months from the date of purchase.

4.2 Expiry: Lessons not used within the six-month period will expire. All monies paid will be forfeited without refund.

4.3 Cancellation of Remaining Lessons: If you cancel a Block Booking after commencing lessons but before completing all ten:

5.1 Cancellation requests must be sent by email to matt@singtheeasyway.com with the subject line "CANCELLATION REQUEST."

6. Refunds

6.1 Refunds for qualifying cancellations will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

6.2 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking.

7. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled lesson or consultation without prior cancellation ("no-show") will result in the full fee being charged with no refund or rescheduling entitlement.

8. Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are treated as cancellations followed by new bookings. The cancellation policies above apply to the original booking. The new booking will be subject to current availability and pricing.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (illness, technical failure, acts of God). In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
