Sing The Easy Way ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services.

• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and payment details when you book lessons or contact us.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages.
• Lesson materials: Microsoft Teams transcription may support personalised lesson notes where the automated note service is used. Recording is separate and optional.

• Provide and manage your singing lessons

• Send promotional emails (only with your consent)

4. Email Communications

We may use contact details you provide to respond to enquiries and communicate about services you request. Marketing communications are not required to book coaching and would require your separate consent. You can contact matt@singtheeasyway.com with a question or request about communications.

We process your personal data based on:

6. Lesson Transcription, Notes and Optional Recording

Lessons are delivered live through the Microsoft Teams app. Where the automated note service is used, Microsoft Teams transcription supports personalised lesson notes. Transcription is required for that service. Lesson recording is separate and optional.

Lesson information may be held in Microsoft 365 and private lesson folders. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, service records or retention systems. Deleting a visible file or folder does not necessarily mean every copy is immediately erased.

Automated tools may assist with lesson-note preparation. Matt personally checks every final ten-session review before it is shared. This policy does not promise that an automated tenth-session review is fully implemented.

Recording is optional and separate from transcription. Its operational effect may depend on the lesson and the services used; ask before the session if you need to understand how your choice affects the materials prepared. You may contact matt@singtheeasyway.com to ask about access or deletion. Information may persist temporarily in backups or other retention systems after a visible copy is removed.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with:

• Jotform, which hosts enquiry and booking forms
• Microsoft services used for Teams lessons, transcription and Microsoft 365 storage
• Service providers used to support communications, payments and lesson-note preparation
• Legal authorities when required by law

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Retention periods depend on the purpose and the systems involved. We do not claim a single retention period for every category of information or every provider system.

Lesson information may be held in Microsoft 365, private lesson folders, backups, service records or other retention systems. Retention and deletion may differ between these systems; removal of a visible folder does not guarantee immediate erasure of every copy. Contact us with a request about your information.

Essential cookies support the cookie preference controls. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you consent to analytics. Advertising and marketing cookies are not enabled by this website.

This website links to separate Jotform routes for paid coaching bookings, general enquiries, and Professional Artist and Industry Enquiries. Analytics and booking links

After analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 measures only clicks to the paid-service booking form, the General Enquiry form and the Professional Artist and Industry Enquiry form. These events identify the route selected and, for paid coaching, the service option. They do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, form content, payment information or other personal data. We do not use website analytics for advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, demographic reporting or enhanced conversions. No form completion or payment event is measured by this website.

Data handling and retention

Form submissions and lesson records may be held by the service providers used to deliver those services. Processing locations, retention periods and deletion from provider backups may vary.
