Nobody is judged here. What you sing in the first few minutes does not define your voice, it just introduces it to me, and I will say that before you start. You are allowed to make mistakes, forget words and get it wrong. That is how lessons work. If being watched is the problem, you can turn your camera off and I will turn mine off too.

The Development Programme is available from age 16. For a 16- or 17-year-old, a parent or legal guardian must purchase it and accept its terms. If you are an adult considering coaching, use the relevant service information and booking route.

Coaching starts by listening to your individual voice and identifying what you want to work on. There is no guaranteed outcome; the work is tailored to you.

No. There is no hard sell in the consultation and you do not have to decide anything on the day. I would rather you went away and thought about it than signed up to something that is not right for you.

Where the automated note service is used, Microsoft Teams transcription supports personalised lesson notes and a practice plan. Transcription is required for that service. Lesson recording is separate and optional. Materials may be held in Microsoft 365 and private lesson folders; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Coaching focuses on contemporary and popular singing. We work with your individual voice and the music you want to sing; outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.

Coaching is live, private and one-to-one through the Microsoft Teams app. Sessions focus on contemporary and popular singing, using diagnosis-led judgement inside real music while protecting what makes your voice recognisably your own.

Just three things: a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera (phone, tablet, or laptop) that can join a Microsoft Teams call, and a quiet space where you can sing without worrying about disturbing others. No special equipment is needed. If you are using a phone or tablet, a simple stand helps so you do not have to hold it, but it is not essential.

The Consultation is £25 for 30 minutes and includes an initial vocal assessment and recommendation. Private Vocal Coaching is £150 for one live, private 60-minute session. The Development Programme is one ten-session commitment for £1,400 paid in full upfront: sessions 1–9 are 60 minutes and session 10 is 75 minutes, including a 15-minute progress review and next-step plan. All coaching is live through Microsoft Teams. The Consultation is not credited against another service.

We'll start with a chat about your goals and any previous singing experience. Then I'll do a brief vocal assessment — listening to your range, tone, and any particular challenges. From there, we'll dive into exercises tailored to your voice and work on a song if you're ready. By the end, you'll have specific techniques to practice and a clear idea of what your voice can do.

There is no guaranteed outcome or fixed timescale. The work is individual, and progress varies. The Development Programme expects approximately two hours of independent practice each week.

Coaching focuses on contemporary and popular singing. Classical and operatic coaching are not offered.

Coaching is private and one-to-one. Group lessons are not part of the service.

Cancellation periods are set out in the Terms: 24 hours for a consultation and 48 hours for a lesson. Cancellations within the notice period may be charged in full, as set out in the Terms. Rescheduling requests are treated as set out in the Terms. Please contact me directly if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Yes. Some of my favourite students are complete beginners. I have a lot of experience working with nervous beginners who have been told they cannot sing. We will start from the basics, move at your pace, and build your confidence step by step.

Consultation, Private Vocal Coaching and the Development Programme use the paid coaching booking form. For a general question, use the General Enquiry form; it is not a free lesson, coaching or assessment route.

Cancellations, no-shows and refunds are addressed in the Terms. Private Vocal Coaching is a single £150 session; the Development Programme is one ten-session commitment, not ten separately purchased or separately refundable lessons. Professional Artist Coaching is a separate confidential enquiry, from £250 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Scope is agreed before delivery and no immediate payment is taken through ordinary coaching routes. Use the Professional Artist and Industry Enquiry form.

Lessons are taught live online, so you can join from outside the UK. Available times are shown when you book through Book Online. If you are in a different time zone and cannot find a suitable time, please get in touch.
